This was our 3rd year in a row to stay at this property. Great location even though it is not on the beach it is close enough to walk if you choose to. Its 100 ft from the island grocery store which is great. The gerage it a plus as we can keep our harleys out of the weather and not worry about theft. Most properties on the island that have garages do not make them available to tenants.
Had a great relaxing, enjoyable stay. Would love to go again soon!
overall this property is excellent...we loved all the amenities, also, loved the location. Only had one small problem, the dryer in this unit does not work
Mike at south padre beach houses is the best in the business for cool houses on south padre island. can't be the rates either!
This is our 5th year at Med. A and we love the amenities provided in this unit. We appreciate the updates that the owners make every year and the prompt attention that Padre Rentals gives to any problem.
This was our second year to stay at this property. We will be back in 2011 if it is available. Making the garage available to the guests works well for us. We can keep our motorcycles inside safe and secure. Also being close (2 houses away) to the store helps. Thanks to the mgmt co for addressing the A/C issue. They had someone out in less than 30 minutes from when I called and was up and running a few minutes later. Great property and mgmt company.
This is our third or fourth year in this particular location - obviously, we like it!! Freshly painted rooms and new dining furniture were asppreciated!! I think our friends & relatives enjoy the privacy of bedrooms located on the lower level. We love the worry-free months spent being Winter Texans...
We attended the Motorcycle Rally so this property was perfect for us location wise (only 100 yards to the island grocery store as well as having a two car garage that was made available to us for parking our bikes out of the weather. The staff was very helpful and friendly at time of our reservation, check in and check out. We will use these folks again for next years rally. Thanks for everything
This was a great place to stay for the price. The only thing it lacks is a pool. We will definitely stay there again.
the place was awesome, nice and clean, and I would do it again and stay in the same place I'm also recomending this place to all my friends and family. everything we needed was around the corner. We rented both sides of this duplex for a family reunion. We enjoyed a great stay. Close to the grocery store a big plus. Beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc. provided with the rental also a big plus. We enjoyed the grill and back patio also.
the location of this property is ideal. Anytime we needed something the property didn't already have we simply walked to the grocery store less than 100 yards away. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in a convenient location, centered around all the best restaurants and shops the island has to offer.
The items in the garage are great for the beach such as the large pop up tent, chairs, ice chest, boogie boards, and intertubes.
We've stayed here twice, and both times have been great. It feels like a home away from home.
As long as there were no more than 8 staying.. The living room was a bit cramped for too many people. Loved the balconies off the bedrooms and living room... Nice, nice....
I enjoyed my stay. I wish I was there longer. I am looking forward to going back soon. The only problems/issues were: The beds (mattresses) were a little uncomfortable, there were ants in dinning room and no place to throw ashes/buds outside since there was no smoking inside.
Lots of room. Very clean and very well stocked (toys, dishes, etc). Loved the location. Wish it had a pool.
We started staying at South Padre for Christmas about 4 years ago. Not only is it the off season, the weather is always spectacular. The folks at SPBH&C just make all the better!
This was our third summer to rent the Med A. Very disappointed that we had to cut our vacation short due to Hurricane Dolly. But plan to return next year.
