Our second time staying at Commander's Quarters and once again we really enjoyed our stay. Stayed 5 nights but would have liked to stay longer. Pool and hot tub are a must at the beach! We like the open floor plan, large master suite and extra room upstairs for the kids. Short walk to the beach and garage allows us to store our car and belongs. Would like to have a space for grilling in the back or side yard. Property management company is fantastic. The staff is very response and polite. When we had an issue, maintenance showed up quickly and resolved the issue the first time! Would like an area to grill in the back or side yard. Thanks for making our vacation fun and hassle free. We will be using South Padre Beach Houses and Condo's again next year!
We had a wonderful time time at the rental the location was wonderful and you can walk to the beach. The house was beautiful and the pool was great. I would recommend this property to anyone. The best part of the whole experience was the management staff at the rentals they are the greatest,they are willing to help you any way they can.
everything was great and wonderful bedroom upstairs 2 years in a row TV does not work. maybe owner can update TVs. need much larger pans. other than that it was great
We have booked this home multiple times. It is our favorite.
The pool wasnt as clean as I would have liked when we got there, but I called them and I had someone there in less then 10 min cleaning it for us.. That was great that they came out and had it cleaned so fast...
This was our 4th stay at CQ, so we obviously love it. One thing that makes it special to us is that it feels more like a home than a rental property - very comfortable in every way.
We live about an hour away and it doesn't take much for us to make it to the island. I wanted to my family to experience more that your quick one day experience. It was worth every penny. My hats off to the property manager and their staff. They did an awesome job from day one. My family is hooked and are already talking about the next time we go back.
Looking forward to go back next year or maybe sooner.
Everything was in working order. Very clean. Pool was in excellent shape. Lack of toilet paper and towels was not a problem. Your office had us stop in for the neccessities. I would like to see a small bottle of kitchen liquid detergent,small soap bars for each bath, and paper towels in the kitchen to get us through the first day until we can make it to the store for supplies. Lovely place. Had a wonderful vacation.
This house was nearly perfect. Would have been totally perfect but a previous renter must have had a dog in the garage, we had a flea issue for a few days. The rental management folks helped with that. Cannot recommend them strongly enough, they were excellent! Will hopefully rent from them again real soon.

THe captains quarters was a very pleasurable stay. It was clean, spiffy, and the pool and hot tub was excellent. The staff was so helpful as we first rented another unit, but it was not what we expected and the staff helped us to get the Captains Quarters which was an excellent accommidations. Thank you very much.
We love this place - it really meets our needs for space, location, comfort. The only downer was that we didn't know until after we moved in that the hot tub wasn't working, and we SO enjoy that part of the facility. Other than that, it was a great stay.
Our family stayed for 7 days and wished we could have stayed for 7 more...The home is great very spacious lots room no matter where you in the home. Very close to the beach easy access to and from the ocean. After fun filled days at the beach is was nice to be able go for a swim in your own private pool if you wanted. We loved the home and the beautiful island and all it had to offer. Can't wait to return.
We really enjoyed the house it is very. It was wonderful having a comfortable private house to come to after being at the beach all day.We loved relaxing in the private pool after a long day. we will definitely go back it was a wonderful vacation wish we could of stayed longer.
For the price we pay - - the least we could have is trash bags and kitchen/dishwasher soap provided. For those of us staying only a week .... it's a pain!
Spacious beach house with a large kitchen. We enjoyed the pool and spa within walking distance of the beach. Garage for the car and large master bedroom. Very happy with the location and surrounding neighbors. Will return again next year!

Outside of the house is weathered, but the inside is nice, and the unit is well equipped. Very close to the beach. We had a great time.
Our family loved this house...close to the beach, spacious, pool. We hated to leave but had to because of Dolly. Hope all's well after the storm. We would gladly stay there again.

House is very nice and clean. Pool had some debris and sand at the bottom. The latch on the fence gate to the pool area was not latching and and was not keeping the gate closed.
We found several roaches and ants in the kitchen. Pots and pans could be updated, but otherwise kitchen was well equipped.
Hot tub did not work, cigarette buts were on patio and in front entry, towels were CHEAP!
Tile floors were clean, but carpeting was spotted and not nice at all. Neighborhood/location-great. Pool/hot tub/OUTSTANDING!
